If you’ve found yourself googling “DIY Invitations” “How to Make a Watercolor crest” or “How to organize my wedding design” you’re in the right spot!

Hi! I’m Jay Barr, a wedding photographer shooting in the SouthEast and along the West Coast who’s passionate about giving brides resources to make their wedding perfect and as stress free as possible!

Here’s a look into everything I created for my September wedding in Canva:

First off: Our custom Watercolor Wedding Crest! Complete with personal details like our dog, front door, getaway car, my camera, and an American flag (my husband is in the military!)

Our design layout and details for EVERYTHING for our month of coordinator so she knew where everything went!

I also sent all of this to my florist! I’ve learned by seeing so many brides not love their flowers, cake, etc, that over communicating to your vendors is key! I was very specific on what I did and didn’t like, and gave photo examples so we were on the same page and she absolutely crushed it!!

Next up was ceremony order and the layout for our mismatched bridesmaids dresses! Seeing all the dresses in one place was KEY! It helped me make sure all the colors, tones, textures, and styles were working WITH each other and not against each other!

I laid out my Invitation suite and Save the date in a “flat lay” style to see what it all looked like together and how it would photograph!

Our Koozies had our crest on one side and our dog on the other! (yes this watercolor is an element already in Canva!

The Bridal Party and Family T Shirts for our Wedding Weekend Pickleball Tournament!

Wedding Party Timelines/ Schedules for Wedding Weekend and Wedding Day!

The Wedding Day Timelines were specifically taillored to each immediate family member, each bridesmaid (and their wedding day duties), and then one basic schedule for all the groomsmen!

Basically, when wedding planning, Canva was my LIFE! It’s SUCH a helpful tool for all things weddings. If you want to learn HOW I did all of this using only 2 main tools in Canva- check out this blog here!

Happy Wedding Planning friends! As always, if you need anything – I’m your girl!
