Engagement Sessions are so fun! it’s the first time you’ll get to both feel like a bride and groom in front of the camera! I love engagement sessions because you can get so many variations of images together, make it fun, and have so many photos to fill your guest book and home! Want your engagement session to have a little extra pizazz? Here are my favorite ways to make it epic.

1. Champagne pop and pour – this one’s easy! Bring 2 bottles of champagne (one for a pop and spray shot, one for pouring and drinking). Bonus: imagine instagram caption “pop the bubbly I’m getting a hubby”

2. Rent a Vintage or Luxury Car or Boat – An unforgettable prop and one your groom will be hype about too! I recommend Coats Classic Cars or Dream Drives Birmingham for a vintage ride. Convertibles are the top choice for a vintage car in my opinion because we have way more options for photo angles!

3. Your pup(s) – yes, bring them!! And someone to hold or take them when we aren’t shooting with them, but if you love them, why not include them? Especially if they are included in any of your wedding design (like on a koozie or napkin)

4. Your favorite restaurant/bar and drink of choice – I love this one, and did it for my own engagement photos in 2023! We shot at the restaurant we had out first date at and incorporated our favorite drink that would also be a signature drink at our wedding – the espresso martini!
